Welcome to Chazon. By accessing or using our platform, website, or services (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our Service.
2. Description of Service
Chazon serves as the bridge between students and experiences that shape their journey. Our platform provides:
- For Students: A centralized registration system to discover campus events, create accounts, register, and track individual participation.
- For Organizers: A dashboard tool allowing organizers to create and publish events, view registrants, manage attendance and volunteers, and track key metrics in minutes.
3. User Accounts
You are responsible for safeguarding the password that you use to access the Service and for any activities or actions under your password. As per our core principle of Ownership over excuses, you are entirely responsible for the outcomes of the actions taken through your account. You must notify us immediately upon becoming aware of any breach of security or unauthorized use of your account.
4. Event Organizers Responsibilities
Organizers using Chazon to promote events agree to:
- Provide accurate, clear, and non-misleading information regarding their events. (Clarity over assumptions)
- Handle student registrant data responsibly and only use it for purposes related to the event execution and relevant follow-ups.
- Communicate any delays, cancellations, or updates to registrants promptly. (Communication is non-negotiable)
- Ensure their events contribute to student growth, development, and meaningful connection.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service in any way that is unlawful, or harms Chazon, its service providers, its suppliers or any other user. You agree not to spam, defraud, or upload malicious content. We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate these terms or disrupt the structured experience we aim to provide.
6. Intellectual Property
The Service and its original content (excluding User Provided Content), features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of Chazon and its licensors.
7. Limitation of Liability
Chazon is a platform that facilitates event discovery and registration. We do not host, operate, or directly manage the vast majority of physical campus events listed on our platform (with the exception of our internal events, such as the Monthly Webinar). Therefore, we are not liable for the actions, safety, or quality of the events organized by third parties.
8. Modifications to Terms
We adhere to Speed over perfection—we move fast and improve as we go. As such, we reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. We will provide notice before new terms take effect. By continuing to access or use our Service after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.
